Multi-Sensory Therapy Explained
The Multi-Sensory Therapy is a way to enrich the sensory environment of a person that makes the brain want to grow and repair itself in the process.
We have divided this presentation of the program into 7 sections, including this summary page.
-
You can either start at the top and make your way to the end by following the "Next" buttons at the bottom of each page, or
-
You can skip to any section that you are particularly interested in finding out about.
Note that most of the sections are self-contained, however, we did write each section assuming you will be familar with the material covered in the previous sections.
Brain Tools to Brain Functions
One of the absolutely unique aspects of this brain repair program is that rather than challenging directly the dysfunctional brain zones hoping that one of these challenges will "stick", we target and use the functional brain zones as brain tools to help repair the brain functions that need it.
We know how the brain responds to short pleasurable experiences when it is healthy. All the close neighbors will benefit from the growth of brand new cells in that healthy area of the brain, including the "broken" ones we are really interested in.
Typical results
This section of the site is there to give you an idea of what can happen when the brain starts repairing itself. What Multi-Sensory Therapy will do is help the brain grow and, in the process, rectify most if not all problems that are preventing your loved one from being able to live a normal life. The catch is that the real-world environment must be conducive to brain growth. You may have to make changes to make sure nothing interferes with the delicate process that is brain growth.
More on the "perfect" environment in the requirements section.
Requirements
The seven keys to success with this brain repair program are:
- A healthy brain growth environment,
- Support to help you make the program work,
- Control by the expert to ensure the best program is "prescribed",
- A certain level of understanding on your part to apply the Multi-Sensory Therapy philosophy,
- That you be given your Multi-Sensory Therapy games, (obvous isn't it?)
- The right equipment and
- Hope, or a change of mindset to optimism that, finally, there is something that you can do to help your child develop naturally.
Cost
Of course, you want to know how much all this is going to cost you. The short answer is that it depends on how much you would like us to be involved in your program. You can start for nothing by implementing our recommendations as outlined in the video series found at thriiive.com and on our web site in the free samples section. On the other end of the spectrum, the full custom Multi-Sensory Therapy will cost you is $3,600 for 6 months.
2-Week Trial
Everyone interested in implementing Multi-Sensory Therapy at home should start with the two-week trial. During this probationary period you get to test Multi-Sensory Therapy and we get to make sure that Multi-Sensory Therapy will actually work in your current environment.
Video Presentation
I, Kim, who wrote these pages, have also recorded a few short videos to cover some of the main aspects of Multi-Sensory Therapy. Sometimes, I find it easier to just sit back and let the person show me. I hope you find them useful. And, you'll get to see what I look and sound like!
