1. Do you qualify for the two-week trial?

If you have read through the section that explains how Multi-Sensory Therapy for brain repair works, then you already have an idea of the few things that could make Multi-Sensory Therapy not work. If you need to speak with me or anyone at the Gordon-Pomares Centre to make sure you have everything in place to try Multi-Sensory Therapy, feel free to do so.

Call me at 888-527-2461 or 403-938-1028
to make sure you qualify for the trial

2. Fill out the online questionnaire

We designed a series of questions, the answers to which will give us a minimum amount of information about the person for whom Multi-Sensory Therapy for brain repair would be. The more details you include in the "comments" boxes, the more refined the trial will be.

*Not necessary if you select the free 2-week trial

If you are uncertain and would like to speak to a real person about your own circumstances, call me at 888-527-2461 (or 403-938-1028).
If you feel confident, having perused the information on this site, then select either Route A or Route B.

3. Set up dates and Prepare for your trial*

When you have completed the questionnaire, we'll need to touch base and synchronize our calendars to set up a two-week period during which you will do nothing else but Multi-Sensory Therapy and the approved therapies you are currently doing.

This phone appointment is also a chance to review the information you gave in the application, and obtain further details about the person for whom Multi-Sensory Therapy would be, if necessary in order to refine the personalized Multi-Sensory Therapy worksheet for your trial.

4. Training for the trial*

Shortly before you start your trial, we will set another appointment so that you can be comfortable about the following:

  • How to do the Multi-Sensory Therapy games listed on your personalized worksheet;
  • How to report changes, response, concerns to us during this trial period.
  • Your home environment is as good as you can make it for the purpose of the trial.

This is also when we will ask you to pay for the trial if you select the monitored version of the trial.

*Not necessary if you select the free 2-week trial

5. Review Trial

Then comes the big questions. Did it work? Did you like what you saw? Do we believe full recovery is possible based on what we saw happen during the trial? Do you want to sign up?

What to expect during the two-week trial

What would happen exactly to your loved one during the trial, whether you go the free route or the monitored paid version, is impossible for us to predict, but I can promise you that if it is successful you will see the following happen:

  • On day 1, you will see a glimpse of something wonderful, a fleeting sign of improvement.
  • Day 2 - 8, your loved one will crash, or appear to anyway. This is what we call the storm period, during which his brain will let go of one or two functions. This storm period is not unique to Multi-Sensory Therapy. Any change in the environment that has an impact on brain function, if sustained will induce a similar process that appears to be a regression of sorts.

The storm could look like anything. If you are lucky, he/she will sleep for 24 hours. It can be physiological with diarhea, but most commonly there is an increase in moodiness or irritability.

The storm lasts longer if the child has never been exposed to pleasurable multi-sensory stimulation.
  • Before Day 14, your loved one will have stabilized and will have shown you more than one visible signs of improvement.
  • If you choose the free generic trial route, then all of the above will happen but to a lesser extent. Changes and the storm will be less obvious
